For a DER interconnection, clause 7 of IEEE 1547-2018 limits direct current injection, rapid voltage change, flicker (Table 25) and harmonic current distortion by harmonic order band and as total rated-current distortion (Table 26 and Table 27), each at the reference point of applicability or the point of common coupling as its subclause states; the harmonic measurement methodology follows IEEE 519, but the current distortion tables differ from those of IEEE 519 and harmonic current caused by pre-existing voltage distortion is excluded.
