Commissioning test CT4 in clause 8.2.3.4 of IEEE 1547.1-2020, the power quality test, is required when issues arise at commissioning, when the design evaluation calls for it or when the Area EPS operator requires it, and its test cases (startup, disconnection, the full output range, input variation and nearby facilities) are agreed with the Area EPS operator. Measurements are taken at the PCC, except that dc injection and current distortion may be measured at the reference point of applicability, with an instrument of the Class A performance class defined in the IEC power quality measurement methods standard.
